Sie ist 335,5 Kilometer lang und verl\u00e4uft zwischen Taipeh, der Hauptstadt im Norden, und Kaohsiung, der zweitgr\u00f6\u00dften Stadt im S\u00fcden. THSR wurde Anfang 2007 in Betrieb genommen. Ein Schnellzug mit einer Geschwindigkeit von bis zu 300 km\/h f\u00e4hrt in etwa 90 Minuten von Taipei City nach Kaohsiung City, eine Entfernung von 345 km.<\/p><p> Alimak wurde gebeten, eine L\u00f6sung f\u00fcr Notausstiege in den Tunneln bereitzustellen, und schlug seinen Zahnstangenaufzug vor, dem einige spezielle Funktionen hinzugef\u00fcgt wurden, um der Anwendung gerecht zu werden. Alle Aufzugskabel sind schwer entflammbar, um das Risiko von durch Verbrennen entstehenden Gasen zu eliminieren<br> Kabel im Brandfall.<\/p><p> Im zweitl\u00e4ngsten Tunnel unter den Tunneln des THSR-Projekts, dem 6,4 km langen Linkou-Tunnel, sind zwei Alimak-Aufz\u00fcge installiert. Der Aufzug hat eine Nutzlastkapazit\u00e4t von 3.000 kg und Hubh\u00f6hen von 36,5 m. Ein Alimak-Aufzug mit 2.400 kg Nutzlast und einer Hubh\u00f6he von 8,63 m ist im 4,3 m langen Hukou-Tunnel installiert, der etwa 70 km von Taipei entfernt liegt. Drei Alimak-Aufz\u00fcge mit 2.400 kg Nutzlast und Hubh\u00f6hen zwischen 6,66 m und 15,93 m sind in den drei Taoyuan-Tunneln mit einer Gesamtl\u00e4nge von 2,4 km installiert. Alle sechs Alimak-Aufz\u00fcge bieten Notausstiege in den Tunneln. Im Brandfall k\u00f6nnen Personen mit den Aufz\u00fcgen zu den ebenerdigen Notausg\u00e4ngen der Tunnel transportiert werden. Tanamark Industries Ltd kaufte die Alimak-Aufz\u00fcge f\u00fcr das THSR-Projekt von Alimaks Vertriebsh\u00e4ndler in Taiwan.<\/p><p> <strong>ALIMAK IN DER TUNNELBAUINDUSTRIE<\/strong><br> Der erste Alimak-Tunnelaufzug wurde 1975 in \u00d6sterreich installiert, um die 600 Meter tiefen L\u00fcftungssch\u00e4chte im Tunnel unter dem Tauernpass zu inspizieren. Seitdem wurden Alimak-Aufz\u00fcge in einer Reihe von Stra\u00dfen- und Eisenbahntunneln auf der ganzen Welt installiert.
