S&#8217;\u00e9levant \u00e0 595 m, les tours ont \u00e9t\u00e9 construites \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de la Grande Mosqu\u00e9e de La Mecque, Royaume d&#8217;Arabie saoudite.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En 2004, Alimak a fourni 28 monte-charges de chantier pour la construction des Abraj Al-Bait Towers, un projet embl\u00e9matique adjacent \u00e0 la Grande Mosqu\u00e9e de La Mecque. Cinq ans plus tard, deux monte-charges Alimak haute vitesse suppl\u00e9mentaires ont \u00e9t\u00e9 install\u00e9s \u00e0 l&#8217;int\u00e9rieur de la tour la plus haute du complexe.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&#8217;un des b\u00e2timents les plus hauts du monde faisant partie du projet, l&#8217;entrepreneur Saudi Binladin Group a d\u00fb relever un d\u00e9fi logistique consid\u00e9rable. Une fois achev\u00e9, le complexe est devenu le si\u00e8ge de la Makkah Clock Royal Tower, l&#8217;un des b\u00e2timents les plus hauts du monde et un \u00e9l\u00e9ment marquant de l&#8217;horizon de la ville. Le projet figure \u00e9galement parmi les plus grands complexes immobiliers au monde, avec une surface totale d&#8217;environ 1,5 million de m\u00e8tres carr\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&#8217;exigence de l&#8217;entrepreneur \u00e9tait de transporter jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 10 000 ouvriers vers et depuis les tours en 30 minutes, en particulier pendant les cinq p\u00e9riodes de pri\u00e8re quotidiennes. Pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ces besoins, quatorze monte-charges de chantier Alimak \u00e0 double cabine ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s, dont six monte-charges doubles Alimak Scando 20\/32 et huit monte-charges doubles Alimak Scando Super FC 28\/37. Ces unit\u00e9s ont fonctionn\u00e9 en continu tout au long des phases de construction les plus intensives du projet.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La contribution ult\u00e9rieure d&#8217;Alimak comprenait deux monte-charges haute vitesse Alimak Scando 650 FC-S install\u00e9s \u00e0 l&#8217;int\u00e9rieur de la tour la plus haute. Chaque monte-charge desservait une hauteur de levage de 345 m et offrait une capacit\u00e9 de charge utile de 2 900 kg. Les unit\u00e9s \u00e9taient \u00e9quip\u00e9es de cabines de 3,9 m de long et ont \u00e9t\u00e9 fournies par le distributeur d&#8217;Alimak en Arabie saoudite, Al-Maymanah for Trading.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La vitesse \u00e9lev\u00e9e et la grande hauteur de levage n&#8217;ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 les seuls facteurs ayant motiv\u00e9 le choix des \u00e9quipements Alimak. La fiabilit\u00e9, la durabilit\u00e9 et la capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 fonctionner dans des conditions de chantier exigeantes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 des consid\u00e9rations tout aussi importantes.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le projet est situ\u00e9 directement adjacent \u00e0 la Grande Mosqu\u00e9e, qui entoure la Kaaba, le site le plus sacr\u00e9 de l&#8217;islam. Con\u00e7u pour accueillir le grand nombre de visiteurs se rendant \u00e0 La Mecque chaque ann\u00e9e, le complexe comprend d&#8217;importantes installations h\u00f4teli\u00e8res, r\u00e9sidentielles, commerciales et de pri\u00e8re et peut accueillir des dizaines de milliers d&#8217;occupants et de visiteurs.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&#8217;une des caract\u00e9ristiques les plus distinctives du projet est l&#8217;horloge g\u00e9ante install\u00e9e pr\u00e8s du sommet de la tour principale.
