Med 71 post-panamax portalkranar i drift, hanterade hamnen i Long Beach mer \u00e4n 7,31 miljoner containrar (TEU) 2007. 1986 levererade Alimak den f\u00f6rsta av \u00e5tta Alimak Scando Mini 2\/10 hissar f\u00f6r att ge f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttrad tillg\u00e5ng till hamnens containerkranar.
