Alimak designed and manufactured an industrial elevator for durability in challenging mining conditions for Voskhod-Oriel’s Chromium Mine in Kazakhstan. The elevator has a payload of 1000 kg or capacity for nine passengers and reaches lifting heights of 204-metres. Due to its location in a hazardous environment, the elevator was equipped with several safety features including an emergency phone, light and alarm.

Christmas Creek Mine sees Australia’s first Alimak industrial lifts installed on an iron ore crushing plant
Crushing Services International specifically required three Alimak SE 1200 industrial elevators for inclusion on the Christmas Creek Mine expansion. Permanently installed in the mine’s iron ore processing facilities, the elevators have a payload capacity of 1200 kg each and travel at speeds of 60 metres per minute.
