Alimak, the global leader in vertical access solutions, has successfully installed the first of its new Alimak Medius 350 construction hoist at the Notre Dame des Ardilliers Chapel in Saumur, France. The compact hoist, which reaches a height of 43 metres, was chosen to help restore the 16th-century church due to its impressive yet cost-effective features.

The compact design of the Alimak Medius 350 hoist makes it easy to transport on a truck, since the base unit (ground enclosure and hoist car with drive unit) – is provided as one unit.
