In March 2026, Sincro Systems used the AlimakTM STS 300 in Cagliari, Italy, to support efficient scaffolding operations, improving material handling logistics and helping maintain consistent progress throughout the project.

Sincro Systems selected the Alimak STS 300 Scaffold Transportation System to support scaffolding operations during a project in Cagliari, Sardegna in March 2026. The system was used to transport scaffold materials efficiently between ground level and elevated working areas, helping maintain consistent workflow on site.

A key advantage of the STS 300 was its ability to support a continuous and organised material flow. With a payload capacity of up to 300 kg and a lifting speed of 17 m/min, the unit enabled scaffold components to be moved quickly and in larger volumes. This supported a productive working process, where a two-person crew could manage loading and installation efficiently, with one operator at ground level and one working at height.

The STS 300 also helped reduce manual handling during the scaffolding phase. By enabling controlled vertical transport, the system supported a more efficient process while reducing the need for repetitive lifting and carrying of materials.

The design of the system contributed further to site efficiency. The rotating storage box allowed materials to be positioned directly towards the scaffold structure, enabling unloading from behind guardrails. In addition, the system does not require landing gates, helping reduce installation time and simplifying setup.

Compatibility with common scaffolding systems, including Ringlock, Cuplock and Kwikstage, allowed the STS 300 to be integrated seamlessly into the existing setup. The modular logistics boxes, featuring wheels and a stackable design, supported efficient handling and transport across the site.

Operating in a coastal environment, the project also demonstrated the system’s suitability for conditions involving humidity and exposure to salt air. The Alimak STS 300 provided a practical and flexible solution, supporting efficient scaffolding operations throughout the project.
